Sjolie Insider Affiliate Agreement
Version 2026-10-12.1 · Sjolie Inc. ("Sjolie," "we," "us") · sjolieinsiders.com
1. Acceptance
This Agreement is a binding contract between you and Sjolie Inc. governing your participation in the Sjolie Insider Program (the "Program"). You accept it by checking the acceptance box on the application form. We record the version you accepted, the date and time, and a technical identifier of your submission. If you do not agree, do not apply.
2. Enrollment & eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, provide accurate and current information, and maintain a valid PayPal account to be paid. Applications are reviewed individually; we may accept or decline any application, and may re-verify eligibility at any time. One membership per person or business entity.
Activity requirement. The Program is for people actively promoting Sjolie on social media, forums, and similar public online channels. The social accounts on your profile must be public and maintain a minimum audience (currently 200 followers); private accounts cannot be verified and are not eligible. You agree to publish a minimum number of qualifying posts per calendar month (currently 8, subject to change under Section 12; if you are approved on or after the 8th day of a calendar month, no minimum applies for the remainder of that month) and to submit proof of each post through your dashboard — a link to the post, or a screenshot for expiring formats such as stories. Proof may be verified by automated systems and by our staff. Submitting fabricated, altered, borrowed, or misleading proof is a material breach of this Agreement and grounds for immediate termination. If the minimum is not met, Sjolie may pause your personal discount code and related benefits until you are meeting it again; continued inactivity may result in removal from the Program. Sjolie may exempt individual members from this requirement at its sole discretion.
3. What you receive
On approval you receive: a personal discount code (currently 10% off eligible products for your customers); a personal tracked landing link; access to the Insider dashboard, Media Hub, and Insider University; and a limited license to use approved Sjolie marketing materials as described in Section 8.
4. Commissions & payment
Rate & base. You earn commission — currently 10% — on the product subtotal of qualifying orders attributed to your code or landing link, excluding taxes, shipping, gift cards, and non-qualifying items. Current rates and category rules are published at sjolieinsiders.com/commissions and in your dashboard; we may adjust them prospectively with notice per Section 12.
Attribution. A personal discount code on an order attributes that order to the code's owner. Absent a code, our first-party tracking link determines attribution. Sjolie's tracking records are the system of record and final absent manifest error.
Holds, returns & clawbacks. Commissions on orders completed during a calendar month (Pacific time) become payable on the 1st of the following month. Because Sjolie offers a 60-day return policy, orders may be returned after you are paid. If an order is refunded, partially refunded, cancelled, or charged back — before or after you were paid — the related commission is reduced or reversed, and amounts already paid are deducted from your future payouts.
Payment. Payouts are sent monthly by PayPal, currently around the 1st, for payable balances of at least $10; smaller balances roll forward. You are responsible for any PayPal fees or account requirements on your side.
Taxes. You are an independent contractor responsible for your own taxes. U.S. participants must provide a completed IRS Form W-9 before cumulative payments reach the IRS reporting threshold ($600); we may withhold payouts until tax documentation is on file, and we file information returns (e.g., 1099) where required.
No self-referrals. Orders you place for yourself, your household, or your own business do not earn commission — including orders placed through a second or new store account, or shipped to you at any of your addresses. Professional pricing is available separately through the Sjolie Rewards program.
No Insider-to-Insider orders. An order placed by any Sjolie Insider does not earn commission for anyone. You may not order with another Insider's code or link, or have another Insider order with yours, to generate commission for each other — and the same applies to orders placed through a different store account that ship to an Insider at any of their addresses. We match orders to Insiders by email, store account, and billing and shipping address; commissions on matching orders are set to $0, and deliberate attempts to get around this rule are a material breach (Section 10).
5. FTC disclosure
U.S. Federal Trade Commission rules (16 C.F.R. Part 255, the "Endorsement Guides") require you to disclose that you have a financial relationship with Sjolie when you promote Sjolie or share your code or link. A hashtag such as #SjolieInsider, #SjolieBrandAmbassador, #SjoliePartner, or #ad, or a short line like "I earn a commission if you use my code," anywhere in the post satisfies this agreement, as does a standing line in your profile bio such as "Sjolie Insider," "Sjolie Brand Ambassador," or "Sjolie Partner." You are responsible for complying with the FTC rules and any platform disclosure tools that apply to your accounts.
Endorsements must reflect your honest opinion and actual experience. Insider University includes practical examples.
6. Marketing rules
You agree that you will not:
• Send unsolicited bulk messages (email, DM, SMS) promoting Sjolie, or violate CAN-SPAM, TCPA, or any platform's rules;
• Bid on "Sjolie" or confusingly similar terms in paid search, or use "Sjolie" in domain names, account handles, or page names in a way that implies you are Sjolie;
• Post your personal code to coupon/deal aggregator sites or marketplaces — codes are for your own audience;
• Use cookie stuffing, forced clicks, iframes, typosquatting, bots, or any artificial means of generating attribution;
• Make health, medical, or therapeutic claims about Sjolie products beyond Sjolie's own published claims, or contradict product labeling, warnings, or usage instructions (spray tan products are cosmetics; DHA is approved for external application — represent it accurately);
• Market to children, or place Sjolie content alongside unlawful, hateful, or adult material;
• Represent yourself as Sjolie's employee, agent, or exclusive representative;
• Purchase through your own code, order with another Insider's code (or have them order with yours), or otherwise manufacture commissions (see Section 4).
7. Your content
Content you create promoting Sjolie is yours, but you grant Sjolie a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to repost and use it in connection with the Program and Sjolie's marketing, with credit where practical. Tell us if you want a specific piece excluded and we will honor it going forward.
8. Sjolie brand & materials
We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the Sjolie name, approved logos, and Media Hub assets solely to promote the Program per this Agreement. Do not alter logos, create derivative brand marks, or use materials after termination. All Sjolie intellectual property remains Sjolie's.
9. Relationship
You are an independent contractor — not an employee, agent, partner, or franchisee of Sjolie — with no authority to bind Sjolie. Nothing here creates an exclusive relationship; you may promote other brands, and we may work with other affiliates.
10. Term & termination
Either party may terminate at any time, with or without cause, by notice (for you: written notice or account closure; for us: email to your account address). On termination your code and link deactivate. Commissions that are payable and unlocked at termination are paid in the normal cycle; pending commissions inside the hold window are paid if and when they clear, unless termination was for fraud or material breach, in which case unpaid commissions are forfeited. Sections 5–9 and 11–15 survive termination.
11. Confidentiality & data
Non-public Program information (rates offered to you individually, dashboards, unreleased materials) is confidential. You may state publicly that you are a Sjolie affiliate. Your personal data is handled per our Privacy Policy; customer data you may encounter belongs to Sjolie and may not be harvested or reused.
12. Changes to the Program
We may update this Agreement, rates, eligibility of products, or Program features prospectively. Material changes will be announced via the dashboard and/or email at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued participation after the effective date is acceptance; if you disagree, your remedy is to leave the Program under Section 10.
13. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The Program is provided "as is." We do not guarantee earnings, uptime, or uninterrupted tracking. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sjolie's total liability arising from the Program is limited to the commissions properly payable to you in the six (6) months preceding the claim, and neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
14. Indemnification
You will indemnify and hold Sjolie harmless from claims arising out of your content, your promotional practices, your violation of law (including FTC disclosure rules), or your breach of this Agreement.
15. Governing law & general
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflicts rules; venue lies in the state or federal courts located in California. If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder stands. This is the entire agreement regarding the Program and supersedes prior affiliate terms, including terms of the legacy program it replaces. You may not assign it without our consent.
